Coming soon - a scary play for Halloween!

Our next show is just the ticket for Halloween - a play called The Exorcism, by Don Taylor. It screened on BBC TV in 1972 as an episode of the Dead of Night series, and gained the reputation of being one of the scariest hours in television history. (And to avoid confusion, it is nothing whatsoever to do with The Exorcist!). Four friends gather in a remote country cottage to celebrate Christmas - whether or not they enjoy their dinner and live to tell the tale, you will have to come along to find out! Written at a time of affluence in England when famine was raging in Biafra and Bangladesh, The Exorcism is a horror story with a darkly satirical quality. Bring a friend - you might not want to walk home alone ...

It runs from Wednesday 28 October to Saturday 31 October with performances 8pm nightly, plus usual Saturday matinee at 2:30pm.
